Finish The Golf Swing Like A Tour Pro

Today, I will focus on the finish, i.e. where you need to position your body after you hit that golf shot to make sure that you’re getting the most out of those swings and sending your ball as far and as straight as you can.

If you have a good starting position and a good finishing position, with a balanced act throughout, there’s a good chance that you’re able to produce a satisfying result and a very happy golfer. If you’re not, however, follow the advice below to get there.

Here are a few checkpoints that are really going to help finish your golf swing in a better position:

  1. From the address position: make your backswing and follow-through.
  2. Get the golf club dangling from your beltline, over your front foot, and see that they’ve shifted considerably forward from where they started so they finish all the way out over your front foot. This is very important the more that your hips shift forward the easier it is to get your strike in order and therefore going to strike the ground after the golf ball as well.
  3. Next, make sure your chest is extended and tall. You should almost feel like you’re arching your upper back slightly and that is going to shift your head back into a position where you’re going to counterbalance yourself from falling over.
  4. Finally, get your right foot upon the toe such that if you look at the angle in which it is, it should have crossed 90 degrees. This enables you to get your hips forward, with more rotation. Ensure that you’re shifting your body towards the target through the ball and try to send the golf ball as far in a forward direction as you possibly can.

Even if you don’t get much time to work on your game, these things should really help. Plus, they are really easy to remember, so just focus on these simple checkpoints to finish like a pro.
