Hit The Ball Straighter With One Simple Drill

In this article, I’m going to highlight the one checkpoint that you need to look for in the downswing. This is going to ensure that your ball is in line with your target and give you a better chance of hitting the ball where you want.
There are a lot of moving parts in the golf swing but when analyzing your golf swing, you must primarily focus on your clubface.
Try this simple drill to hit the ball straighter on your next round of golf. Follow the checkpoints, as shown in the below video.
- If you’re going to make a backswing, try to make a downswing, you will feel much stronger with your back facing the target than when it’s not facing the target if you were to throw it.
- Put the ball high in your stance. Stand so that the ball is aligned with your left toe. Swinging from this stance will allow the largest swing.
- Grip the club high. Use leverage to put more power behind your shot.
