Preshot Routine: Realistic Rehearsals
It really pays to rehearse what you actually want to do or how you want a performance, just like when you go through school or acting or anything like that.
When you do a dress rehearsal, you want to make it as realistic as possible. When it comes to a pre shot routine, once again our rehearsal needs to be as realistic as possible. But you want to stand next to the ball, preferably on the same lie, in the same grass, so you can get a feel for how the golf clubs are going to work through.
Then, you want to take on what you feel like would be some relatively accurate swings and motions brushing the grass exactly how you want, be it on a full shot or a chip shot.
All of this is incredibly important before you step in and actually execute some shots.
